Riding high on a recent Pitchfork best new music review, JJ have charmed fans left and right with their playful Swedish pop, reminiscent of labelmates, The Tough Alliance. On their newest album, JJ n° 2, the mysterious group (they don't reveal their names) mix synth-pop textures with woozy vocals that make JJ n° 2 one of those perfect summer albums that are so highly coveted at this time of year. Standout tracks include the laidback island percussion on "From Africa To Málaga," the just-begging-to-be-remixed-into-a-club-jam, "Ecstasy," the soothing, blippy jam "My Love," and the mesmorizing guitar, offbeat sound effects, and lush layers of "My Hopes And Dreams." If you're a fan of synth-pop at all, this album will definitely be your new obsession for the remainder of the summer.

ya this is a highly enjoyable release. the cover makes me think of tuesday mornings.
maybe it's just me but i found this to be really typical and average and not as good as air france
i wouldn't say it's better than air france, but it's still pretty damn good.
